It's Worth It ....
Just a quick little drop in, not a usual thing for me to post twice in one day, but I thought this was worth a shout out.
Cathy Zielske is running a class over at BPC which is all about type. It only runs for a couple of weeks and is not too intensive on the workload, it is mainly theoretical with great practical tips.
Anyway, what struck me about the first video was how applicable her tips were to ANY scrapper; paper, digi or hybrid.
She gives thorough instructions using Word and PSE as an addition to the theoretical video and one of the best things she pointed out was, that we are all making these pages and writing these stories to be read ... so, people, why not make them easy to read?
If you type or write your journaling this one could help, and, when it comes to titles and fonts; it works regardless of whether you computer generate or use thickers.
Have a great weekend, I'll see you back here on Sunday for Storytelling Sunday - this is my first one for the year and came about from a commentators question ... you just never know where inspiration strikes!

Thank-you for the pointer! Though where I'll fit it in ....
should i ???
YES!
Yes you should Diane and Alexa, the classes are permanently archived, I think her instruction is worth taking!
happy to hear it is good, although her classes are typically well worth it. I likely will not visit the class until April :)
I signed up for Cathy's class. Can't wait to carve time out tomorrow to watch the video.
Interesting point. Fonts and type have become such a design element that maybe legibly gets lost. I handwrite all my journaling and try to keep it legible.
Rinda
can't wait to see what you've got planned for Sunday.
I'd signed up for the class and hadn't realised it had started (oops!) I'll be popping over for the first lesson soon. Thanks for the reminder :) xx
Cathy's classes are always FULL of content. I took her Design class and I feel like most of this was probably covered in that one. Maybe I should go back and review???
I'm looking forward to your story!
Cathy's design course was one of the best courses I ever took, and the album that resulted from it is one of my favorite albums. I signed right up for this one, and although some of the material was a repeat, some was not and it was a great refresher. Now to find time to practice.
