I haven't shared too much of my combined December Daily/Journal Your Christmas album this year. I've made as many pages as I like, some days have two entries and many have none. I have loved the entire process; I make these albums and pages because it's fun and I enjoy the results. I don't have to number things, keep up or post in various places if I don't want to, and this year, I didn't want to.
This is just a quick little look at a couple of entries, there is no real order to things this year, some are dated but most are generic. I have several photos. I am going to finish on Christmas Day this year, I'm not really sure, at this stage, how to tie everything together and I may end up with a couple of photo collage pages.
Documenting this time of the year is lovely, it combines many different aspects of our lives because it is also the end of the academic year, but, as I sit down and write this post I am struck by how wonderful April could also be, or August and possibly even February ... December gets a lot of focus and I have a feeling there are many other months of the year with their own unique stories waiting to be told.

You're quite right ~ there's at least 366 stories waiting to be told next year!
This way of documenting works so well,Amy....you are gong to end up with a wonderful record of December.
Looking forward to seening the end product, no doubt it will be beautiful and stylish.
brilliant Amy!
I so agree about other months deserving a concentrated focus - determined to do so next year - just need to choose a month
I agree - I love doing week in a life to capture all those stories.

I love how you've made this work for you :) I've managed to find a way that has worked for me this December but it was more of a struggle than usual so I've already thought about how to change it up next year - and I'm definitely planning to do Project Life, but in the way you've done this; tell the stories that I want to tell, record the details little and big, and let some days just go by :)
Oh wow, now you've got me thinking about documenting other months. I did a Smsh Book of our summer holiday in August last year and that worked brilliantly, but not February. Nothing nice ever happens in February
A very good point! Yes, I usually finish off on Christmas Day - it leaves me a few scrapbooking free days over the holiday and I think the break does me good. A Merry Christmas to you all from all of us!
I think I should have done that this year! I didn't finish until last week and I still haven't shared it on my blog. I found it very time consuming this year and I think I forgot the reason I started it in the first place!
Love your fab pics as always Amy :)
