Bags, Tags And Lights ...

Because Beverly asked.

They are from Sharon, a Christmas gift last year and I am sure when she pops in she'll leave a comment to let us know which embossing plate and system she used.

** Sharon's answer is in the comments section **

I bought lights. The first time ever. I settled on a pack of 250; 600 were available but I thought 250 was potentially troublesome. Photos of a tangled mess will follow ... at some stage.

When buying the lights from a large multi-national chain store, I found the packaging particularly appealing.

Last day of term photos will come soon and perhaps an update on DD/JYC.

No matter how carefully I wind up the lights after Christmas, it's always a struggle to straighten them out a year later. Cool bag!

I agree with Ruth..on both counts!

Those tags are just fab Amy. We have trouble with tangled lights too.

Tangled lights are obligatory...but still worth it!!

I manage to keep my lights tangled free. Sorry does that sound rather smug?
Cool bag and tags. Salient examples of an advantage of paper over digi.

Oh I love those tags....did Sharon make them or buy them?

ooh I do like the bag too!

now for the tags, I made 'em. I had a cuttlebug (since sold) and use a cuttlebug christmas embossing folder (no idea of the name, it went with the machine when it sold) to emboss 4x6 size bits of card, which I then sliced into tag sized bits. Easiest thing to do ever and the most work my cuttlebug ever got!

The tags are adorable! Around here, lights are "men's work," so I stay out of it.

Love the tags, and I've never seen that embossing folder. Like Rinda, I have nothing to do with Christmas lights---thank goodness.

Men's work! Definitely. I only have to look at them for the mess to get even worse

YAY!!! Thanks, Amy, I love them even more up close and Sharon, I do believe I have that exact folder!!! I am right there with Rinda and Sian...the men did the lights when I was growing up, the men to the lights now. I stay out of their lights if they stay out of my decorating lol

I think the smaller string of lights was the right decision. The thought of finding the one that has 'blown' in amongst 600 makes the mind boggle! We definitely need a photo of the finished decorating though.

I love that bag!! No such pretties here - it's mainly either plastic carrier bags or reusable bags people provide themselves (I'm definitely much more likely to do the latter!)
